Dubai announces free parking, metro and bus timings for Eid Al Adha 2025
Key intercity bus routes altered temporarily during the festive break
DUBAI’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced major service adjustments for Eid Al Adha 2025, including free public parking and updated public transport schedules.
From 5th to 8th June, all public parking zones across the city will be free of charge. However, multi-level parking terminals will continue to charge regular fees during this period.
Dubai Metro
For commuters, the Dubai Metro will operate extended hours from 5:00AM to 1:00AM the following day, starting Wednesday, 4th June, through Saturday, 7th June. Similarly, the Dubai Tram will run daily from 6:00AM to 1:00AM between the same dates.
Bus route changes
The RTA has urged passengers to consult the S’hail app for real-time updates on bus timings. Notably, Route E100 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station to Abu Dhabi will be suspended from 4th to 8th June. As an alternative, passengers can use Route E101 departing from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi.
Additionally, Route E102 will temporarily operate directly from Al Jafiliya Bus Station to Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi, bypassing Ibn Battuta and Musaffah stops.
Service Centre closures
All RTA Customer Happiness Centres will remain closed for the Eid break. Nevertheless, Smart Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, and the RTA Head Office will remain operational around the clock.
Service provider centres will be closed from 5th to 7th June. Limited technical testing services will resume on 8th June at selected centres including Tasjeel Al Tawar and Shamil Muhaisnah. Full operations will return citywide on Monday, 9th June 2025.
The UAE has declared a four-day holiday for Eid Al Adha, applicable to both public and private sector workers, running from Thursday, 5th June, to Sunday, 8th June.
